Role Description The Spa Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston, SC, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the spa to ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience. This includes managing spa staff schedules, supervising service delivery, and maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere throughout the facility. The Spa Manager monitors inventory, supports budgeting and revenue goals, and ensures adherence to safety, cleanliness, and brand standards. The role involves handling guest inquiries and feedback, coordinating promotions with resort leadership, and collaborating with other departments to support integrated wellness offerings. The Spa Manager also trains and mentors team members, supports performance management, and helps develop spa programs that align with Salamander Collection’s luxury positioning. Qualifications Proficiency in spa management, including daily operations, staff supervision, and service coordination. Strong focus on customer satisfaction and customer service, with the ability to resolve concerns professionally and maintain high guest loyalty. Experience with budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost control in a hospitality or spa environment. Knowledge of skin care services, products, and wellness trends to support service offerings and staff guidance. Previous leadership experience in a spa, wellness center, or luxury hospitality setting. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs. Relevant certifications or licenses in spa, wellness, or esthetics are preferred.
